We went to visit my friend, Mirna. Her son is Matthew. Mirna’s MIL from Indonesia happened to be here for a visit.
On the way there, I was lecturing JL to behave and to share toys and to give in to Matthew because he’s younger. And to scare her off, I told her that Matthew’s grandma is here and she’s fierce. So she’ll tell you off if you don’t behave. FYI, Matthew’s grandma is a lovely friendly lady. I just said that so that JL would behave.
JL: Oh, that’s a bit like my Ah Ma. My Ah Ma is also very fierce.
Me: Really? Ah Ma is not that fierce
JL: Yes, she is. She always scolds me
Me: Then in that case, I’m very fierce.
JL: Well… sometimes
Me: Really? Not most of the times?
JL: No, Ma… sometimes
Me: Okay then.
JL: But I love you, mum.
Me: Even though I scold you all the time???
JL: Only sometimes.
Me: Okay then… sometimes.
JL: But it’s because you love me, right Ma?
God, I love this gal.
She's so sweet!!! Kapan ya bisa ketemu JL?
